PALMARES was born at the height of the pandemic, a time when plantation across the region faces severe labour shortages, rising costs, and challenging terrain.

It began with an energetic and inspiring figure from outside the plantation industry. Our Founder saw the hard physical challenges faced by plantation workers and felt that their burden could be lightened. With that conviction, she built a team of passionate engineers, stepping into the field to learn by doing, working hand in hand with estate teams and factory partners in China.

Together, we designed, tested and refined machines that could endure the toughest field conditions and truly ease the burden of daily labour. Every design came from real experience, and every improvement came from honest feedback in the field.
